UNEMPLOYMENT NUMBERS DECLINE IN NEW JERSEY

The Bureau of Labor Statistics released preliminary data on Thursday that shows the unemployment rate in New Jersey is on the decline. The report says that the jobless rate dropped from 4.5 percent to 4.3 percent in February, the lowest number since 2007. The national unemployment rate now stands at 4.9 percent. Those who have jobs in the Garden State total 4.3 million, the highest number of total workers ever.
