Two women were stranded in the ocean near Caesars in Atlantic City Sunday night and had to be rescued by the Atlantic City Fire Department’s Rescue Team. The two women were swimming after lifeguards were off duty after 7:30pm, and were reportedly holding onto an outfall pipe about 25 to 30 yards off shore. The rescue was successful, but firefighter John Slattery injured his foot while assisting the women.
