TWO VILLAS MEN CHARGED IN ROBBERY AND ASSAULT

Lower Township Police investigated a robbery which occurred on Ohio Avenue in the Villas on Monday. Police said that the victim was assaulted and had a large sum of money stolen from him. A suspect in the robbery, 26 year-old Sean Burke of Villas, was arrested and charged with robbery, terroristic threats and criminal restraint. At the time of his arrest Burke was found to be in possession of heroin and marijuana, which led to additional charges. On Tuesday, police arrested a second suspect, 39 year-old Edward Reichle, Jr. of Villas, on charges of robbery and terroristic threats. Both men were lodged at the Cape May County Jail on $150,000 full cash bail each.
