TWO VEHICLE ACCIDENT INCLUDED POLICE CRUISER

A police cruiser and a vehicle collided in Absecon on Monday night. Ptl. Andrew Southrey’s vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Robert C. Martin. Martin’s vehicle overturned and the police cruiser struck a utility pole. Southrey was responding to an emergency call. The incident took place at the intersection of New Road and Meadowview Avenue.
