TWO TO THREE INCHES OF RAIN BEING CALLED FOR LOCALLY

The latest information is in from the National Weather Service and there is an expectation of heavy rain throughout Tuesday. The forecast calls for between two and three inches of rain. A coastal flood watch is in effect for Tuesday until 1 p.m. There is also an expectation of heavy wind. Forecasts call for 15 to 30 mph sustained winds, with the heaviest seen near the shore. Wind gusts could touch 45 mph. Moderate coastal flooding is being called for along the coast.
