TWO SENTENCED FOR BURNING DOWN DINER FOR INSURANCE MONEY

A couple were sentenced in the torching of a historic diner in Bridgeton. Andrew Webster and his wife Brenda plead guilty to burning the property down for insurance money. Andrew Webster was given 20 months in prison. Brenda Webster was given three years probation and six months of home confinement. The two destroyed Angie’s Bridgeton Grill. The diner was built back in 1939 and was listed as a national historical place.
