TWO RESCUED FROM HUGE BOAT FIRE OFF OCEAN CITY

Two people and their pet dog were rescued during a boat fire off the coast of Ocean City on Sunday morning.  Black smoke from the boat fire could be seen for more than a dozen miles as the boat burned up off the beach shortly before 11am.  The two occupants of the boat and their pet dog were able to get on a dingy and escape injury.  The boat eventually sank after the fire.   United States Coast Guard made the rescue.
