TWO PERCENT CAP LEGISLATION TO BE VOTED ON IN ASSEMBLY MONDAY

The final piece to a property tax cap could be coming Monday. The state Assembly will hold a vote on the cap on Monday. The Senate passed the bill and Gov. Chris Christie has already said he supports the measure. The cap would keep property tax increases under two percent, except in four areas of exemptions. Assembly Speaker Shelia Oliver says she supports the plan.
