Just under 25 percent of eligible voters turned out for Ocean City’s Municipal Election on Tuesday. Only two of the five council seats on the ballot were contested. Incumbent Karen A. Bergman won the council-at-large seat with 62 percent of the vote over H. Lloyd Hayes III. In Ward 4, Robert S. Barr defeated two other opponents with 39 percent of the ballots cast. Election results are unofficial until certified by the City Clerk’s office.
