TWO OCEAN CITY FIREMEN HONORED FOR HEROIC EFFORTS

Two Ocean City firemen have been recognized for saving the life of an unconscious man in a burning home last year.  Captain Gary Green and Fireman Bill Wasekanes have earned valor awards for their rescue in an apartment located in the 1500 block of Simpson Avenue.  The Professional Firefighters Association of New Jersey honored both men for saving the life of the unconscious victim.
