Two New Jersey men who are accused of trying to join an overseas terror operation are expected to be in court Thursday. 20 year old Mohamed Mahmood Alessa and 24 year old Carlos Eduardo Almonte were both arrested at JFK International Airport in New York City trying to board separate flights to Africa. Authorities allege the two men were going to join an insurgent group that is fighting the United States government. Prosecutors are trying to prevent the men from being eligible for bail.
