Here we go again. Gov. Chris Christie nominated two justices to the Supreme Court of the state. Christie tried two nominations earlier this year, but they were rejected by confirmation votes in the Senate. Bob Hanna and David Bauman are the two names presented by the state’s highest ranking official. Bauman is a registered Republican and Hanna does not have a registered party affiliation. Hanna currently serves as the director of the Board of Public Utilities. Bauman was the first Asian American judge on the Monmouth County Superior Court and was appointed by former Gov. Jon Corzine in 2008.
