The sale of 95 stores owned by A&P is now final and this means two local supermarkets are now owned by a new company. ACME has purchased the Superfresh stores at 2400 Delaware Ave. in North Wildwood and the Superfresh at 800 West Ave. in Ocean City. A&P had filed for bankruptcy and the purchases are expected to keep more than 10,750 people employed.
