TWO LANES INTO AVALON FOR BIG WEEKEND

There have been major improvements made to Avalon Boulevard in advance of the July 4th holiday weekend.  A major reconstruction effort on the Canal Bridge in Avalon has resulted in a left turn lane being added on the boulevard at the site of the bridge near Ocean Drive which should improve the flow of traffic into the community for the holiday weekend.  County Engineer Dale Foster told Borough officials that there will be no intermittent lane closures through the weekend so traffic can flow more easily for the holiday weeekend.
