An eight year old girl and a 53 year old woman are dead as a result of a fire that swept through their South Jersey home on Easter Sunday morning. Police in Florence Township confirm that two people died in a house fire on West Second Street around 2am Sunday. 53 year old Darlene Weir and eight year old Kayla Macario were both killed in the fire; three others were able to escape the inferno. A neighbor who set up a ladder next to the burning home was able to save two lives.
