TWO CHARGES WITH SETTING FIRE AT MARINA

Two men have been arrested after an indictment was handed up this week charging them with an arson for hire case involving a marina in Tuckerton.  Ocean County authorities say both men are from Little Egg Harbor and have been accused with a murder for arson plot that resulted in a 2009 fire at the Tuckerton Marine Service Center that left the marina and several boats damaged.  One man paid another suspect cash to set fire to his boat at the marina in order to destroy it and cash in on $100,000 in insurance premiums.
