TWO CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED HOMICIDE IN WILDWOOD

Two Wildwood men have been arrested and charged with attempted homicide following an incident that took place early Monday morning in the Commissioners Court housing complex.  Wildwood Police announced the arrests of the two men after they recovered a loaded handgun underneath a vehicle at 4:30am Monday.  Police had received a report about a man armed with a gun in the area and immediately responded; they made two arrests.  24 year old Wilfredo Perez-Salvat and 49 year old Rafael Delgado-Soto were both charged with criminal attempted homicide.  Police say Delgado-Soto attempted to shoot the victim, but the weapon malfunctioned.  Both men were taken to the Cape May County Jail.
