TWO ARRESTED FOR HEROIN DISTRIBUTION IN NORTH WILDWOOD

After a three month investigation, a man and woman were arrested for heroin distribution in North Wildwood on Tuesday. Police carried out a search warrant at the Central Avenue residence of 31 year-old Juan C. Maldonado, and 41 year-old Raquel Soto and seized distribution amounts of heroin and more than $22,000 in cash. The Wildwood Leader reports that Maldonado and Soto were charged with distribution of heroin within a school zone, and possession of heroin, and could face up to five years in prison. Soto was released on a summons and Maldonado was sent to the Cape May County jail on $35,000 cash bail.
