TWO ADMIT GUILT IN ATTEMPTED HOMICIDE

Two Atlantic City teens have pleaded guilty to attempted homicide. The incident ended up with a 16-year-old wounded from multiple shots that were fired into a group of teens outside of an Atlantic City apartment complex. Luis Carmargo, now 19, and Keanan Butcher, now 18, both pleaded guilty to attempted homicide and weapons offenses. Both defendants were juveniles at the time of the incident, but it was waived to criminal court. Sentencing will take place on March 14. The plea agreement is set for 15 years in jail between the two charges.
