UPDATE: CEMENT MIXER OVERTURNS ON GARDEN STATE PARKWAY

On Friday afternoon at about 1:37 p.m. a cement truck overturned on the Southbound shoulder of the Garden State Parkway, near mile marker 4.8. N.J. State Police reported that the truck was carrying a full load of concrete when it sustained a flat tire. The driver pulled onto the soft shoulder of the parkway, which caused the truck to overturn and create a minor fuel spill. No injuries were reported in the incident and no other vehicles were involved.
