TUESDAYS MISSING SWIMMER COULD BE MISSING TEEN

North Wildwood Police believe that the swimmer who disappeared in Hereford Inlet Tuesday morning could be a 16-year-old boy who was reported missing the same day. Bystanders called 911 on Tuesday when a swimmer was seen in distress in Hereford Inlet. Police officers who responded to the call near Seaview Court could not rescue the swimmer and a search of the area was initiated without success. The family of the missing teen is working with police to help locate him and his identity has not been released. The family was staying on the 500 block of East Second Avenue, not far from where the swimmer disappeared.
