Atlantic City Electric reported that a power outage affected over 7,800 customers in Cape May County at about 10 p.m. Tuesday night. Most of the outages were in Lower Township, where a sub-station failure occurred. The majority of customers had their power restored by midnight and everyone was back online Wednesday morning.
