A major construction project could be coming to the Tuckahoe River Bridge. Upper Township Mayor Richard Palumbo said the bridge may be shut down for nine months beginning in Sept. for work to be done at the bridge. The plan is to put a new bridge in its place. There are some concerns, including emergency access routes.
