A decision was made in bankruptcy court that allows a group backed by Donald Trump to own the three casinos that bear his name. The sale out of bankruptcy was between the Trump group and Carl Icahn, who had bought the mortgage for the casino and was hoping to take ownership from there. Trump will be limited to a less than 10 percent ownership stake, with bondholders making up the rest of ownership. The $225 million bid by the Trump group was the highest.
