A new poll of the swing states showed Donald Trump in the lead. Quinnipiac University did the poll looking at the GOP field in Pennsylvania, Florida, and Ohio. These three states often swing a presidential election for a Republican or Democrat. Gov. Chris Christie finished towards the back of the pack with around 1 percent in Florida and Ohio, but did get 5 percent in Pennsylvania.
