A rental truck had to be towed from the beach before Thursday night’s high tide in Strathmere. The Upper Township Beach Patrol reported that a rental truck used for a construction project on Thursday, got stuck in the sand on the bay side of Strathmere, near the causeway that connects to Ocean City. The truck was pulled to safety, but not before it’s engine became flooded by the rising tide.
