TRUCK HIT OVERPASS ON ALONG AVALON BLVD. TUESDAY

A tractor trailer carrying cars hit a Garden State Parkway overpass in Middle Township. Authorities say the incident took place along Avalon Blvd. in the township. The initial investigation found minimal damage to the overpass, but a more extensive inspection will happen Wednesday to ensure the bridge is in good shape. There were no injuries reported in the accident.
