Former Millville standout sports star Mike Trout got another award this week. Trout was awarded his second silver slugger, given to the best hitter at each position in both leagues in the MLB. The local star hit for a .323 batting average, 27 home runs, and 97 RBI. He is the only player in American League history to win two silver sluggers in his first two seasons in the league.
