TREASURER OF LOCAL FIRE COMPANY GETS A YEAR IN THE CAN

26 year old Michael Patrella of Seaville will be spending the next year of his life at the Cape May County Jail for stealing money from the Seaville Volunteer Fire Company. A judge handed Petrella the jail time right before the weekend. Petrella embezzled $19,000 from the fire company where he served as treasurer. He used fire company funds to reimburse himself for personal expenses.
