TRAFFIC INCREASE ON MAJOR TOLL ROADS

The Garden State Parkway and New Jersey Turnpike both saw increases in traffic in 2013. The overall increase was less than one percentage point, but commercial traffic was up over two percent. Analysts believe the increase in commercial traffic is a sign that the economy is improving in the Garden State.
