Traffic fatalities possibly hit an all-time low last year. Early numbers from the State Police say there were 542 fatalities on the roads last year, which is down 8 percent from the year prior and the lowest on record. State Police first started taking the numbers down in the 1940’s. Final numbers could change based on conditions of victims from accidents that took place before the end of the year.
