The struggles of Atlantic City show in the toll revenue being generated. It seems less people are heading to the resort. The South Jersey Transportation Authority reported traffic on the roadway was down 1.9 percent in Oct. versus the same month a year prior. Meanwhile, charter buses to Atlantic City were down 18 percent in the month. There were 12 casinos open in Oct. 2013 and only 8 in 2012.
