TOWNSEND’S INLET PROJECT SET TO BEGIN IN JAN.

Work to the Townsend’s Inlet Bridge is expected to begin after the end of the year. The project is out to bid, which will raise the weight limit of the bridge. Cape May County Engineer Dale Foster noted that New Jersey Transit buses will be able to use the bridge once the work is complete. The work is currently out to bid for the Freeholder Board to make a decision on next month.
