TOWNSEND’S INLET BRIDGE TO REOPEN ON SATURDAY

The bridge that connects Avalon and Sea Isle City is expected to reopen this weekend.  Cape May County Engineer Dale Foster informed Avalon officials Wednesday evening that the Townsend’s Inlet Bridge will reopen to vehicular traffic on Saturday, November 13th, around 4:00pm.  The bridge has been closed for a few weeks as a contractor conducted major repairs to the bridge railing system.
