TOWNSEND’S INLET BRIDGE REOPENS FOLLOWING NOR’EASTER

Avalon Police have reopened access to the Townsend’s Inlet Bridge following a shutdown during the recent nor’easter.  Police had closed a portion of Ocean Drive in Avalon near the bridge for a few days during the coastal storm due to wave overwash onto the roadway.  On Sunday morning, access to the bridge was reopened as the storm moved away from the coast.
