TOWNSEND’S INLET BRIDGE TO RE-OPEN THIS WEEK

The Townsend’s Inlet Bridge between Avalon and Sea Isle City will re-open this week.  County Engineer Dale Foster says that work to shore up the structural integrity of the bridge is nearly complete, and the bridge could open as early as today or as late as Thursday.  Next winter, the bridge will be closed again for a few months so various mechanicals on the bridge can be replaced.
