Residents and visitors to Avalon and Sea Isle City can now safely go across the Townsend’s Inlet Bridge. Avalon Police confirmed on their Facebook page that the bridge reopened Thursday afternoon. The bridge had been closed for a few months due to repairs. It was initially set to reopen last week but due to mechanical issues the opening date got pushed back a week.
