January 12th..that’s when the county plans on shutting down a portion of Ocean Drive between Avalon and Sea Isle City that will result in the Townsend’s Inlet Bridge being closed to traffic. The bridge will be shut down through April 30th for work to be done on the bridge. Construction will occur weekdays between the hours of 7am and 3:30pm.
