Bad news for Storm Chasers: a tornado watch was in effect Tuesday night until 9pm in South Jersey but none were reported. Wind gusts did reach as high as 54 mph at about 8pm in the Atlantic City area, according to the National Weather Service. Power outages were scattered throughout Cape May and Atlantic Counties, totaling over 3,500 customers, with large outages in Dennisville and Sea Isle City. As of early Wednesday morning 150 customers were still without power in the two counties.
