Toll collectors on the Garden State Parkway and New Jersey Turnpike are pleading for their jobs. The Authority has submitted a request for a proposal that may result in all of the toll takers jobs being privatized. There are 136 toll collectors on the Garden State Parkway, and some politicians are lining up support for the Authority to keep everyone working.
