Prosecutors and police both say that many tips from the public led to the arrest of 19 year old Jahmell Crockam, the man accused of killing a South Jersey police officer on Friday afternoon. Crockham was arrested on Sunday morning in an apartment in Camden less than two days after he shot Lakewood police officer Christopher Matlosz three times. A reward fund of $130,000 had been accumulated for the successful arrest of Crockham, but there’s no word if that money had been awarded. Two other individuals were removed from the apartment where Crockham had been holed up.
