TIME RUNNING OUT FOR LONEGAN WITH BIG GAP IN THE POLLS

New polling numbers suggest it might already be over in the U.S. Senate race. Newark Mayor Cory Booker holds a 35 percent lead over former Bogata mayor Steve Lonegan. The data comes from a Rutgers-Eagleton poll. Booker is the Democrat and will likely take back control for the Democrats after the death of Frank Lautenberg. The special election between the two is on Oct. 16.
