TIME FOR FINAL PREPARATIONS BEFORE EARL

Any loose items that could blow away from heavy winds or vehicles that are parked in flood prone areas should be moved. Hurricane Earl will hit the area by about noontime. High tide will be around 3:30 pm. Places that are prone to flooding will likely see minor to moderate coastal flooding. The track for Earl has taken it farther away from the shoreline. The impact of Earl will not nearly be as bad as it could have been. Caution must still be taken though as tropical storm force winds are still possible.
