An accident in Egg Harbor Township sent two to the hospital, including one in serious condition. A 2012 Chevy Impala operated by Dorothy Ryon, 83 years of age of Northfield, was travelling east on Mill Road when a 1998 Mercedes Benz turned left into her vehicle’s path and the impact occurred. The 1998 Mercedes Benz ML3 operated by Donato Dangio Jr., 59 years of age from Margate, was making a left turn onto Fire Road from west bound Mill Road when the impact occurred with the Impala. A third vehicle, 2013 Chrystler Caravan operated by Debra Rupley (37 years of age from Egg Harbor Township), received minor damages while stopped in traffic waiting to turn left onto Fire Road from East bound Mill Road.
Ryon was treated at the scene by the Egg Harbor Township Ambulance Squad and AtlantiCare paramedics. She was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Campus Trauma Center in serious condition. Dangio was treated at the scene by the Egg Harbor Township Ambulance Squad and transported to Shore Medical Center with minor injuries. Dangio was issued a summons for careless driving and failure to keep right from this crash.
