Three people were injured during an accident that involved a dump truck on Route 55 at about 5 p.m. on Thursday. The truck was heading southbound on Route 55 when it collided with a Ford Mustang and both vehicles crossed the center median. One victim was airlifted to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center. Route 55 was closed for several hours in both directions as crews put out a vehicle fire and cleared the accident scene.
