THREE HOMES DAMAGED IN VENTNOR FIRE

Owners of a Ventnor home were displaced by a fire that broke out Tuesday afternoon at 3 South Wyoming Avenue. The Ventnor Fire Department brought the blaze under control in about one hour but not before the structure was heavily damaged and two adjacent buildings also sustained damage. The owners were not at home when the fire started and one firefighter was taken to the hospital with heat exhaustion. The cause of the fire does not appear suspicious and officials continue to investigate.
