THREE CASINOS OUSTED FROM PENSION FUND

Caesars’ three Atlantic City casinos have been expelled from the National Retirement Fund pension plan and demanded to pay $462 million in alleged withdrawal liability. The fund managers filed papers in court on Friday to prevent Caesars Entertainment from avoiding their withdrawal liability obligations in the event of a bankruptcy. The fund handles pensions for thousands of workers in the casino, hotel, laundry and apparel industries.
