Over 6,000 people were without power because of a transformer issue. The large majority of outages were reported in Egg Harbor Township and Somers Point. Power went out on Sunday evening and work is continuing to try and fix the problem. Some of the power has been restored to those who lost it. Emergency crews were out assisting with traffic.
