THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE WITHOUT POWER DUE TO THUNDERSTORMS

Thousands of customers in Atlantic City Electric’s service area are without power as a result of a line of thunderstorms that rolled through the region late morning.  Major outages were reported in Dennis Township, Cape May, and Ocean City, along with areas in Salem and Gloucester counties.  The storms were accompanied by strong winds.
