THORNTON, SHEPPARD TO FILE ON MONDAY

Two republicans who are seeking nominations for seats on the Cape May County freeholder board will turn in their nominating petitions Monday morning. Jerry Thornton and Sue Sheppard will be at the county clerk’s office Monday at 11:30am to turn in their petitions. They will run in the republican primary against Ralph Bakley and John McCann. This is expected to be a very contentious election, and has split the local republican party in Cape May County.
